Privacy notice
Last updated 28 September 2026
In short: this website sets no cookies and runs no tracking or advertising. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to send through the contact form, and we use it only to reply to you.
What we collect
When you send the contact form, we store:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your organisation;
- the topic you pick and your message;
- the date and time it arrived, the page you sent it from, and the country your connection came from, as reported by our hosting provider.
We don't collect anything else through the form, and we don't combine it with other data.
Why we collect it
To read your message and reply to it, for example to arrange a pilot or a demo. We don't use it for marketing lists and we never sell or share it.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Messages are stored in a private storage area on Vercel, in its Mumbai region. They are not publicly accessible. Only the BHU-Rakshak team, using a private key, can read them.
How long we keep it
We keep a message only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and delete it after that. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what you sent us, send a request through the contact form, using the same email address, and we will act on it.
Other services this site uses
- Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
- Google Fonts supplies the typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google.
- The Live data page reads sensor readings from the BHU-Rakshak base station. It shows device data only and collects nothing about you.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update this page and its date.
